Covered Bridges

I'm posting a few pictures of one of New Hampshire's covered bridge that is still in use today. It crosses the Connecticut River between Dalton New Hampshire and Lunenburg Vermont. There are only a few of these bridges left in New Hampshire and still fewer that are in use today. Someday soon I will go out and take pictures of all the ones that I know of in the Great North Wood area and post them to my web site layz1.com I know of at least three that are still in use and about four more that are not being used today. When I post it to my web page I will post a link to it here on my blog. Am I a considerate guy? Or what! Always taken care of my readers. Once again it is time for the Layz1 to say “this is me saying goodbye to you till whenever."

Oh! Crap!

I have a riddle for you. What’s white all over and really, really sucks? The answer is, the Great North Woods of New Hampshire on April 5th. We got about 10 inches of new snow last night. When I went to bed at midnight we had about an inch and a half and it looked like it had stopped but I had a rude awakening this morning, we had at least 8 more inches of snow during the night. It must have snowed like snowbodies business after I went to bed for the night. I don’t think I will use my camper this weekend. Do you? I gave you the bad news so now it’s time for the really bad news it’s still freaking snowing. And now the really, really bad new. I have to go out and shovel this wet heavy crap so this is me saying goodbye to you till whenever.
